Thank God For The Weekend

So when I wrote that post whining about four quizzes in the second week of classes I had NO IDEA of the hell that was in store for me. I had four EXAMS and a quiz this week, three on the same day. This is my excuse for not posting at all this week, and now I am obviously trolling for sympathy. I could suck it up, but it's my blog and I'll whine if I want to :p So again, hopefully I will be posting a lot more regularly from now on...until finals week.

On another note, I need to start reading again. I started a "mystery" "thriller"-type book and I was bored to tears by the time I got halfway through it, so I just stopped. I hate hate hate giving up on books halfway through, but I think I'm going to have to do it this time. So now I'm looking for something new to sink my teeth into. Any suggestions?

  1. Well I'm reading a kind of novel called "The Black Death" by a historian named John Hatcher. I say kind of novel because he calls it a novel and the characters are made up. On the other hand it is written like a history book.

lawguy and I cannot figure out how to sign into the comments as anybody.

  2. If it's that bad, don't waste your time or hatred.
they will be better spent elsewhere.
I wouldn't know how to recommend a book. I go to the library and sometimes I find 2 or3 right away that I want to read. Other times, I spend much longer finding nothing I want.
What I'd like to sink my teeth in is a donut.

  3. ok - im figuring out how to post here - hehehe.

For our mystery book club group this month we read On What Grounds. I thot it was really light reading fun - Ron hated it and wouldn't finish it. So go figure on that.

I just finished #7 on the Elm Creek Quilt books. - this one was a historical novel about 1840, concerning the Underground Rail road - ron found thes books on amazon and started getting them for me - i love them!
